Iran excuses ‘bogus’ report that Russia mentioned it eliminate powers from Syria

Iran’s Nour News has dismissed a report by London-based Asharq Al-Awsat that Russia requested that Iran eliminate its powers and state armies from western and focal Syria because of an expansion in air strikes by Israel.

“As per the data got by Nour News, the report distributed in Asharq al-Awsat was misleading and Russia has not made such a solicitation from Iran. The Zionists’ assaults were additionally overstated,” Nour News, which is a subsidiary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said on Saturday.

The report in Asharq Al-Awsat referred to a source purportedly near the Syrian government and guaranteed that Russia “requested that the Iranians clear” from their situations close to the site of Regiment 49, a significant military site in western Hama facilitating long-range S-200 rockets and other Russian-made arms.
